Just this last week I had a farming accident. At least that is what I call it. While bopping along on the riding lawnmower (I call it the 'red racer',) my foot slipped off the brake and shot the mower forward, like a rocket, through the fence and into a post. Now I am wondering, why mowers do not have seat belts? I flew over the steering wheel while at the same time tangling my fingers in the steering wheel, causing bruising and swelling to my whole hand. My other shoulder was also yanked around and I could hardly use my arm for the rest of the day. Red racer was retired to the barn for a couple of days. My horses all stood at the fence looking at me like I had lost my mind. Jeeze do I feel silly now.
